No cookie banner. Because we have nothing to ask about. StudyHub only uses cookies needed for the service to work. No ad tracking, no third-party analytics.
The cookies we use
- Sign-in (sb-*): keeps you logged in. Without it you'd have to sign in on every page. Set by Supabase Auth.
- Language (NEXT_LOCALE): remembers whether you chose Swedish or English.
- Theme (sh_palett): remembers whether you chose the fixed or dynamic colour theme, so the page doesn't flash on every load.
Things in your browser that aren't cookies
We use localStorage so your answers survive the network dropping mid-section. The queue is sent once you're back online and then emptied. It never leaves your device to anyone but us.
Why no banner
Swedish electronic communications law requires consent for cookies that aren't necessary for the service, typically advertising and analytics cookies. We have none. Showing a banner anyway would just be theatre.
If we ever start using something that requires consent, we'll ask first, properly, with a choice you can decline.
Removing the cookies
Every browser can clear cookies for a single site. If you do, you'll be signed out and your language and theme choices forgotten. Nothing else happens.
