Refunds
In force from 21 October 2026
14 days from when you subscribed. You pay for the started days and get the rest back, and for a credit pack you get back what you haven't used. The Withdraw from contract here button is under Your profile, and we don't ask why.
What it covers
The free level costs nothing, so there is nothing to undo. Plus, Pro and Max come with a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you subscribed, also when you paid the founder price and also for an upgrade made during those days. Credit packs come with a 14-day right of withdrawal from the purchase.
The period is counted the way the law counts it. Subscribe on a Tuesday and you can withdraw up to and including the Tuesday two weeks later, the whole day. If the period ends on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it runs until the end of the next weekday. Your profile shows your last day.
What you get back. Before you pay, you tick that you want to start right away. If you withdraw from a subscription, you then pay for the started days you have had it and get the rest back, and the start bonus that came with the payment is removed as far as it has not been used (it is only given once per account, so a new subscription after a withdrawal doesn't bring a new one). If you withdraw from a credit pack, you get the money back for the credits you haven't used. Once all the credits in a purchase are used, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to that purchase.
Passes bought before 16 September 2026 had a 14-day money-back from the purchase. That time has passed for every pass.
How to withdraw
Go to Your profile. The Withdraw from contract here button is in the subscription card, and under each credit purchase, for as long as the right of withdrawal applies.
Enter your name, check the contract and the email address the confirmation goes to, and press Confirm withdrawal. You don't need to give a reason.
A subscription ends right away, and the credits left from a credit purchase are removed. You get a confirmation by email with what we received and when. The money goes back to the card or account you paid with, no later than 14 days after we received your withdrawal and normally within 5–10 banking days. What you've done in StudyHub stays on the free level.
You can also withdraw by emailing [email protected] from the address you sign in with, within the period. A clear email is enough, and you can use the form below if you like.
Withdrawal form
Copy the text, fill it in and email it to [email protected]:
“To StudyHub, Uppsala, [email protected]. I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: StudyHub Plus, Pro, Max or a credit pack (state which), taken out or bought on (date). Name: (your name). The email address I sign in with: (address). Date: (today's date).”
Cancelling is something else
After the 14 days you cancel the subscription whenever you like in the customer portal under Your profile. Nothing more is charged, and you keep everything until the end of the period. A period already started is not refunded.
Why we do it this way
We have no trial and no lock-in. So we think you should also be able to change your mind without negotiating with a support department.
You only pay for what you have had time to use. That is fair to you, and to everyone else who pays for the same thing.
How this relates to the statutory right of withdrawal
Under Swedish distance selling law you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you buy online. Someone who asked for a service to start during the withdrawal period pays, on withdrawal, for what has been performed (Chapter 2, Section 14), and a service that has been fully performed cannot be withdrawn from.
That is what we do. The subscription is counted in started days and the credit pack in used credits. If you didn't ask to start right away, for example for a purchase from before 21 October 2026, you get the full amount back.
If something goes wrong
If the button doesn't work, you haven't received the confirmation, or more than 14 days have passed and you think you have a good reason, email [email protected]. An email within the period is always enough. We're reasonable.
